The Emerge Study is evaluating a new investigational treatment for migraine

Migraine can be extremely debilitating and have a negative impact on one’s everyday life. There is a need to find a more effective way to treat the condition and give those who suffer from migraine a better quality of life as a result.

 More About the EMERGE Study

This EMERGE Study will be testing how a new investigational treatment, which is self-administered into the nose with a simple device, works to improve pain caused by acute migraine.

The study it is a late-phase study, which means the investigational product has been tested before.  Previous studies showed positive results.  However, the investigation product has not been approved for use by the public.  We are conducting this study to find out if it can be approved for use by the public.

The study will ask the participants to document their headache attacks in an e-dairy for 28 days.  After that, participants will be trained in the use of the nasal device and receive a dose of the treatment or a placebo to compare results.

You May Qualify to Participate if You:

• Are 18 to 65 years of age
• Experience at least 2 migraine headaches each month
• Have a 1-year history of migraine attacks
